Window Peeper is a clip of about fourteen seconds from October 2026. At night the camera zooms into the only lit window of an apartment block, where someone eating a burger stops mid-bite, stares at you and pulls the curtain shut. It began as an AI reel and spread through a CapCut template.
From first reel to template
The earliest version we found is an AI reel that @karina.aicontent put on Instagram on 11 October 2026. @therealrodentspawn turned it into a TikTok CapCut template on 20 October, and @capcutfever's take a day later went past 4.2 million views.
After that came prank-a-friend versions and pet versions, including a bulldog. Counts shift all the time and we haven't audited them.
Why it travels
