So what is the Bby Wow Guy meme about?

The original clip

A guest filmed it at a quinceañera in a small town in Coahuila, Mexico. Early copies circulated on TikTok in mid-2025, and the clip was reposted as “the original video” in July 2025. A third-party tracker listed that post at several million views by 18 October 2026, a count we have not checked.

We have not checked that view count on TikTok ourselves, so read it as approximate. We do not name the person in the clip, and the credit goes to the accounts that posted it.

Why it came back in 2026

Early in October 2026 creators started dropping the clip into green-screen templates. Around 12 and 13 October those templates gained a sped-up pop track, and people began calling the result the bby wow guy dance trend. A fashion label reposted it on Instagram on 16 October, which pushed it to a much wider audience.

AI versions followed, with one photo standing in for the dancer. That is the kind of video Tip Toe AI makes.

What every version keeps

• A party with a crowd of guests dancing around.
• A confident walk toward the camera through the crowd, snack in hand, and one bite.
• A hard cut to an extreme close-up: puffed cheeks and a wide-eyed stare into the lens.
• Another cut to a view from behind as the guy turns and dances back into the crowd.

What is the snack?

The bun in the original is a concha, a round Mexican sweet bread with a shell-shaped sugar crust. The snack in our video is a generic sweet bun with a pink, crackly sugar-shell top, so it looks close without being an exact copy.
