Tip Toe AI video: one person is missing, how do I fix it?
Updated:
Short answer
A person goes missing when one photo has no clear face or both people share one photo. The template needs exactly two photos, each with one sharp face looking toward the camera. Replace the weak photo, then run the free 5-second preview to check that both roles appear.

What usually goes wrong
- Group photo in one box: the model picks one face or blends several.
- Tiny face in a wide shot: the face is too small to count as a character.
- The Partner is out of frame: the Partner often has a short moment on screen, so a weak photo can drop out.
Fix checklist
- Crop each photo to one person, with the face in the upper half.
- Use a different, more frontal photo for the missing role.
- Run the preview and look for both roles before paying for the full video.
Questions people ask
Can I add a third person?
No. The Tip Toe template is built for two roles. Make a second video if you want another pair.
Does a missing person count as a failed video?
Only generations that fail to finish are refunded. A finished video with a missing person is a normal result, which is why the preview comes first.
Do pets count as people here?
A pet can fill a role if its face is clear. See the pets page for photo tips.
