The sound is lifted from a real recording of a traffic stop made in 2025. People were quoting the stop sign exchange long before any animal showed up in the driver's seat.

On 6 October 2026 a small dog in a grey hoodie appeared at the wheel with that audio running. Labradors and border collies followed, and a black cat version passed a million views on 20 October.
