Alors on Danse AI: what is this trend?

Updated:

Quick answer

A white-studio comedy bit, redone with fresh characters. One taps a tiny keyboard and laptop without any reaction while the other points, beatboxes and pumps a finger until a synth riff lands. A 2010 French sketch is the blueprint, and AI versions blew up in October 2026.

The original sketch

A 2010 French comedy show staged it. In the sketch a comedian acts as if he is teaching a singer how his 2010 dance hit gets made, and the singer, expressionless, plays a laptop and a mini keyboard. Plenty of people thought the footage was real. TikTok users reposted it widely in June 2026.

AI versions and their reach

The first AI remakes arrived on 3 October 2026 and swapped in new pairs: two parrots, a pair of fantasy characters, an Italian comedy duo. A number of them passed a million views. We read those counts on 21 October 2026, and they have not been audited.

The reason it spreads

Contrast carries the joke: one character stays completely calm while the other supplies all the energy. It suits every kind of pair. The plain white studio keeps the frame uncluttered, and listeners spot the 2010s dance sound at once. Remember that view counts here come from a reading on 21 October 2026 and nobody has audited them.

Try it yourself

FAQ

Was there really a studio session behind the original?

No, it was written and staged for comedy, even though many viewers took it as real footage.

Is the trend exclusive to TikTok?

It started there, then reached Reels and Shorts through reposts. The format is identical on all of them.

Is the original footage a requirement?

No. Your two photos are the only input, and Tip Toe AI invents the scene from scratch without touching the original footage.
