Missed Train Dance explained: the comedy clip behind the trend
Updated:
Short answer
In Missed Train Dance a person sprints down station steps, sees the yellow doors shut, falls to their knees, then gets up and dances as though nothing happened. The gag is how fast despair flips into joy. AI remakes put a friend, a boss or a pet in the lead.

Where it began
The live-action series is the work of a creator called @zacjeremiah. An early instalment from 11 February 2026 reached about 6.2 million views, the kneeling take we follow (5 May 2026) about 10.3 million, and a newer one from 7 October 2026 passed 9.6 million.
AI remakes began on 18 October 2026 with a template post by @tentaclesdancehub, and @capcutdailies posted another on 22 October at around 681,000 views. We read those figures on 26 October and haven't audited them.
Why people copy it
- A swing in seconds: panic, collapse, then joy, packed into fifteen seconds.
- Instantly readable: a platform and bright doors explain the setup at a glance.
- Anyone can star: a friend, a boss, a grandparent or a pet can take the lead.

Questions people ask
Did the original take place at a real station?
It did. The AI remakes, ours included, are generated.
What's with the yellow doors?
They are the signature of the original take, which is why every version keeps them.
How does our length compare with the original?
The full video is 15 seconds long, the same as the take it is modelled on.
