Bama Bound: my sign words were refused, what now?
Updated:
Short answer
Your text was probably too long (over 24 characters), included a character that isn't allowed, or matched a blocked word. Shorten it, stick to letters, numbers, spaces and ! ? ' & - . , and try again. Nothing is charged for a refused text.

Common causes
- Too long: more than 24 characters after extra spaces are removed.
- Not allowed: links, @ or # signs, emoji, quote marks or accented letters.
- Blocked word: insults and other unsuitable words, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
- Empty: no letters or numbers left after cleaning.
What to try
Cut the text to two or three short words, replace symbols with plain letters, and avoid spelling tricks that try to get around the word check. If it is still refused, pick one of the presets.
Questions people ask
Is my text stored?
It is stored with the video request so a retry can reuse it, and it is checked again each time.
Why are accents not allowed?
The sign accepts plain letters, numbers and a few punctuation marks so the lettering stays clean.
Does a refused text use credits?
No. The request is refused before anything is reserved.
Make a Bama Bound video of your own
Add one to four photos and everyone holds up the red sign, lifts it overhead and jumps. Pick the words or write your own. Nothing recurs, and the finished video has no watermark.
