Short answer

Pick one sharp picture of the singer, be it your pet, yourself or an adult friend, with the face showing and turned toward the camera. JPG, PNG or WebP below 10 MB and 300 to 6000 pixels per side. Children's photos are refused.

Technical limits

  • Formats allowed: JPG, PNG, WebP.
  • Maximum weight: 10 MB.
  • Pixel dimensions: every side from 300 to 6000.
  • Proportions: width divided by height from 0.4 to 2.5, which rules out panoramas and thin strips.
  • One picture with one subject is all the template takes.

What works best

  • Soft, even light and a sharp face, because the clip is a close-up selfie.
  • Head and shoulders or a bit more, eyes and mouth visible.
  • For a cat or dog, a close shot from the front at eye height, fur colours and markings visible.
  • Whatever the subject wears; the suit is added afterwards.
  • For a toy or drawing, a clean view of face and body.

What to leave out

  • Anybody younger than 18, babies and children included.
  • Group pictures, which can lead the model to the wrong face.
  • Dark glasses, masks, a hand across the mouth and strong beauty filters.
  • Screenshots of other people's clips, plus celebrities and famous copyrighted characters.

Only you, adults who consented, and pets, toys or drawings that are yours. Before uploading, go through Photo Consent and Acceptable Use. Uploaded photos are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Does a selfie work?

It does. This trend is a selfie, so a sharp selfie in good light fits it naturally. Keep the whole face inside the frame.

Why was my photo refused?

A message beneath the upload box says what is wrong, perhaps the size, the format, the shape or a face that may belong to someone under 18. Correct it and retry; refused photos cost nothing.

Does my pet have to be dressed?

No. An ordinary pet picture is fine, as the model adds the suit.
