Who is allowed in the driver's seat of a What Stop Sign video?
Updated:
Short answer
Any pet with a clear face, a toy or drawing you own, or an adult who said yes. Not allowed: children, celebrities, famous cartoon characters and anyone from the original bodycam video. The template is built for pets, and that is where it is funniest.
Who gets in
- A dog or cat: the classic, and it keeps its fur and markings.
- Another pet: rabbits, parrots and hamsters have all been pulled over.
- A toy or a drawing: it comes to life behind the wheel.
- You or a friend: adults only, with the person's agreement.
Who stays out
Children, celebrities, well-known characters and the people from the original recording. The photo check turns these away before any credits are used. The full rules are on the Photo Consent page.
Questions people ask
Can my friend be the driver?
Yes, if they have agreed and are over 18. Ticking the consent box confirms it.
Can I use a famous cartoon dog?
No. Famous copyrighted characters are refused at upload. Use a drawing of your own instead.
What about a police officer in the photo?
Leave people out of the picture. Only the driver appears, and no officer is ever shown in the video.
Put your pet behind the wheel
Send one pet photo and an innocent driver in a hoodie comes back. No watermark, nothing to subscribe to.
