The point of it
It's a costume change as a punchline: the friendliest face in the room turns into a silent figure in one flash. Watching a friend's smile vanish is half the fun.
Questions people ask
Is there a plot?
No. It's purely a gag, built around the swap at the flash.
Why a balaclava?
The 2026 versions all use one, so every remake keeps it.
What does mandem mean?
It's British slang for a group of lads or mates.
