Hit the Road Dude AI prompt for Veo: one paragraph with the lines, no names
Updated:
Short answer
Paste the paragraph below into Veo and attach your driver photo as the starting image. One flowing description covers the scene, the cuts, the lines and the tight close-up at the end, and it names nobody from the original clip. Or skip the writing and use Tip Toe AI.

The prompt
A photorealistic 15-second vertical clip that looks as if someone standing beside a parked vehicle filmed it on a phone, aiming at the driver. The person or animal in the attached photo is the DRIVER; keep their face, hair or fur, skin tone and clothing exactly as in the photo, and if it is an animal keep its species and let it sit upright in the driver's seat with its front paws on the wheel, talking with comically expressive mouth movements. A plain white pickup with no badges, logos or readable plate is stopped on a dirt track beside a calm country pond in the afternoon, driver's side toward the camera, window open. The clip cuts hard between a wide shot of the driver's side, a close-up of the DRIVER's hand on the window sill with the index finger aimed at the camera, a medium shot, a wide shot in which the DRIVER points down and waves the person away, and, in the last seconds, a tight close-up of the DRIVER's face. The DRIVER talks with their hands the whole time and never sits still. In the first two seconds the DRIVER asks in a gruff voice, "Who told you you could fish here?" An off-camera young man answers, a little unsure, "I thought it was state property." The DRIVER repeats "State?", answers his "Yeah" with "This?" and, after another "Yeah", says "State?" once more. From about 7.8 seconds the DRIVER points down the road, waves the person away and says, "Hit the road, dude. This ain't no state property, this is private property." The young man says, "Oh, okay." In the final two seconds the DRIVER points at the camera and asks, "What is your name anyway? I want your name." The lips move in sync with the lines. Sound: only the spoken lines, quiet ambient sound and an idling engine, no music. No text, no logos, no watermark.
Tips for using it
- Attach one clear photo of the Driver and check that your tool keeps the face steady.
- Keep real names out of the paragraph. Describe the driver and the white truck instead, so nobody from the original clip is imitated.
- Tools change often. Look up the clip length and aspect ratio your plan supports and trim the paragraph if needed. If the speech is unclear, run it again.
Questions people ask
Would the original man's name make the result more accurate?
It would not help. Tools can refuse real names, and using a real person's name or likeness can infringe their rights. Describing the action works better.
Does the clip match the meme exactly?
No. Veo versions differ, and your photo changes the face, the voice and the timing. Use the paragraph as a first draft and adjust it.
Is this page tied to Google in any way?
No. Tip Toe AI is independent and not affiliated with Google or with the original poster.
