Can a pet or friend star in the Spooky Scary Skeletons dance?
Updated:
Short answer
Yes. Besides you, the star can be an adult friend who said yes, a cat, a dog or some other pet. Pets get up on two legs, put on a small red-lined cape and mimic the dance. Photos of animals behave less predictably than photos of people, so run the free 5-second preview before paying.

Possible dancers
- You, if the photo shows your face clearly.
- A grown-up friend or relative who agreed to be in it.
- A cat or dog photographed close up, looking at the camera.
- A toy, or a character you drew, which becomes an animated copy of itself.
What is different for animals
Animals remain what they are, only upright and caped. Expect springier, more cartoon-style movement than you get with a person. The pet page gives photo tips.
Each video has one dancer
A scene only fits one dancer. To feature two friends, render two clips and show them side by side, or edit them together.
Questions people ask
Can two people dance in the same clip?
No, the template takes a single photo with a single dancer. Render one clip per person, then join them in an editor.
Do I have to get my friend's permission first?
Yes. At upload you state that everyone pictured has agreed. Ask beforehand, and pass the finished clip on to them.
Does a toy or drawing count as a dancer?
It does, if you own it. The figure keeps its shape and colours, takes the cape and dances. Check the free preview to be sure.
